Kinsey Sperling
Kinsey's direct approach to coaching is complemented by her on field experience. She was an all WPIAL goalie and graduate of North Catholic High School. She earned a Finance and Management BS from La Roche University where she played low attack. As a captain she led the program in assists and a AMCC championship, were she was named to the all tournament team. Coach Kinsey is currently the head coach at Hampton Township High School and was voted WPIAL Coach of the year for division 2A in 2026.
Jay Sperling
The founder of Lightning Lacrosse, Coach Jay has 30+ years of coaching experience. He helped create the North Allegheny Boys Lacrosse program while in High School. Jay previously coached for Pine-Richland Boys Youth Lacrosse, Vincentian Academy, and he is currently the Head Coach of North Catholic High School Girls team. Jay has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling and is a licensed professional counselor.
Noah Sperling
Coach Noah is a graduate and Boys Head Coach at North Catholic. He attained his BS and Master's degree from St. Vincent College and is a school counselor. He was the starting goalie and a NCAA DIII leader in GAA and Save %. Just like in the cage Coach Noah takes a calm and collected approach to coaching and focuses on goalie training. Our whole coaching staff believes in coaching the whole player and we understand that playing is mental as well as physical.
