Our Lightning winter training is a great time for players to build skill and prepare for the spring season. This six week session will focus on stick skills, game development and small sided skills that improve overall development as a player. The sessions will be at Lakevue Athletic Club in Valencia on January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2
Our Lightning winter training is a great time for players to build skill and prepare for the spring season. This six week session will focus on stick skills, game development and small sided skills that improve overall development as a player. The sessions will be at Lakevue Athletic Club in Valencia on January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2 and 9th 2025. Sessions will be in the evening mostly from 8 to 9:30 PM. Cost will be $120

Our History
Founded in 2007 Arrow and Lightning Lacrosse has provided foundational lacrosse training, leagues and travel teams to the Pittsburgh Area. We focus on a fair price and quality instruction. We work with athletics to ensure they continue to have a passion for the game and a lifelong love for the sport. We have never aspired to be a big program, but rather one that focuses on quality over quantity. We work with the whole player and work to build resilience along with skills. Lacrosse is not about the money to us. Our coaches have successful careers or are focusing on receiving college educations. Our coaches are active in the community and are nurses, educators, real estate, pharmacists and counselors. We use our real world experience to help teach athletes not just how to excel on the field, but be resilient and successful in life.
Our Team
Our coaching team is some of the most experienced coaches and players the regions. Coach Jay and Andy have been involved in playing and coaching the game since the 1980's. We complement their experience with coaches that have played in college and have a passion for the game. Core to our program are Coach Kinsey and Noah Sperling. Kinsey's direct approach to coaching is complemented by her on field experience. She was an all WPIAL goalie and graduate of North Catholic High School and now is a leader at low attack for LaRoche University. Coach Kinsey also coaches at Pine Richland High School. Coach Noah is also a graduate and coach at North Catholic. He attained his BS and Master's degree from St. Vincent College and was the starting goalie and a NCAA DIII leader in GAA and Save %. Just like in the cage Coach Noah takes a calm and collected approach to coaching and focuses on goalie training. Our whole coaching staff believes in coaching the whole player and we understand that playing is mental as well as physical. Fifty percent of our coaches have attained Master's degrees and two in counseling. We understand athletics are more than just a player. We specialize in keeping the game fun. If your child had a coach that ruined the game for them, we can help them fall back in love with the game.
